These terms govern your use of kastraresearch.com and any Kastra Research subscription. By creating a subscription or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not subscribe or use the site.
Kastra Research publishes independent research on commodity markets, organised into separate verticals. Each vertical is sold as its own subscription. A subscription gives the subscriber online access to the full text of every edition published in that vertical while the subscription is active, including editions published before the subscription began that remain on the site. A free preview of each edition is available without a subscription. Publication schedules are indicative and editions may be added, revised, corrected or withdrawn.
Each vertical costs US$100 per month, billed in advance in US dollars on a recurring monthly basis from the date you subscribe, until you cancel. Applicable sales or similar taxes are added where required and shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; Kastra Research does not receive or store your card details. Prices may change, but any change will be notified by email at least 30 days before it applies to your next billing period, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops future charges and your access continues to the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
A subscription is for one named individual. You may not share your sign-in, forward sign-in links, or give others access to subscriber editions. Team and firm access is available by arrangement at [email protected]. Subject to these terms, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read subscriber editions and to use them in your own work. You may quote short passages with attribution to Kastra Research. You may not republish, resell, systematically download, or redistribute editions in whole or in substantial part, or use them to train or build a competing product, without prior written consent.
Kastra Research is an independent research publisher. It is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser or registered investment research firm, publishes no ratings or price targets on securities, and does not recommend buying, holding or selling any security or commodity. Research is general in nature, is prepared for professional readers able to make their own decisions, and takes no account of any reader's objectives or circumstances. The important disclosures published in each edition apply to all content on the site.
Research is drawn from sources believed to be reliable and figures are tagged by provenance so readers can check them, but no representation or warranty is made that any content is accurate, complete or current. You are responsible for verifying any figure or conclusion against the underlying source before relying on it. The site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kastra Research and its owner and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising from your use of or reliance on the site or any content. Total liability for any claim relating to the site or a subscription is limited to the amount you paid for that subscription in the three months before the claim arose.
Access may be suspended or ended without refund if these terms are breached, including by sharing access or redistributing content. Kastra Research may discontinue a vertical; if it does, the subscription to that vertical will be cancelled and any unused portion of the current billing period refunded.
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be notified to subscribers by email before they take effect. Continued use of a subscription after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe.
